We currently face 3 pressing issues as a community. The first is simply that the place we gather has been destroyed. It's like we're slaves after the civil war who got separated through slavery and now we're trying to find each other again. First thing we need to do is gather everyone who's been split apart.
The second issue is that we've lost a lot of important crap that was on MMOT. Although most of my TBwL and Burst stories are saved, a few are lost. The only existing copy of them was on MMOT. I'm sure there are plenty of things people lost that they'd like to recover as well.
Finally, our third a final issue is, simply put, we want our side back.
Here is my 7 Point Plan to get back MMOT (copied straight from an AIM conversation with Guo)
randomness511 (5:04:03 PM): 1) gather everyone possible
randomness511 (5:04:15 PM): 2) request the site to be opened for one more day to recover things
randomness511 (5:04:26 PM): 3) if he agrees, let everyone know, so we can all get out crap
randomness511 (5:04:33 PM): 4) work on finding someone who can host it
randomness511 (5:04:43 PM): 5) code please, mr basil?

In a little bit clearer English, my plan is to gather all possible members of MMOTales first. This means contacting anyone and everyone you know from MMOT and linking them to our temp forum. We want to get as many MMOT members as possible. Then, once that's been accomplished. I'l ask Mr. Basil to reopen MMOTales for one day so we can recover our precious documents. That part, of course, assumes he hasn't completely erased everything. Finally, we'll try to somehow find a server, and then ask Mr. Basil for the code from MMOT. If all goes as planned, we should be able to have our site back up and running, controlled by US (and paid by US...) in a few weeks.
