Haha, he actually threatened you? What in the world does he think he can do? I was talking about MLK, sorry for the vagueness.

But MLK was jailed for holding demonstrations without a permit, not for leading riots or breaking windows. He was never, as you say we are, part of both "the civilized, reasonable group and the radical extremists", which I feel is a very important distinction. Instead of saying "If you don't do what we want, we will turn violent," he said, "If you don't solve this problem quickly and without bloodshed, you will have to deal with these other people, these people I cannot convince to be peaceful." If there is one thing he's most remembered for, it should be civil disobedience and non-violent protest. Also, remember that "Will we be extremists for hate or for love? Will we be extremists for the preservation of injustice or for the extension of justice?" are rhetorical questions. (edit: just in case, the third quote is not a direct quote) I never said I was copying him verbatim. I'm just borrowing his tactic of trying to make the idea of dealing with us now much more appealing. I can always send another PM talking about how several MMOT-ers are talking about doing something to Basil to make their point known.

I have to agree with Iepiat in some cases. I never gathered any signs of sadness or sympathy out of anything Captain had ever posted. It always seemed to me that he considered us a burden, from my perspective. But then he hardly ever interacted with the community to made bonds like all of us did. Which is the main reason that I never, ever liked him. He never gave me any reason to respect him. In that same sentence Iepiat found as being regretful, I read it as "I'm dissapointed that I wasted so much time and money on this site".
Maybe it's just me, but I was always convinced-- now even more-- that he hates us. Not too strong of a hate to be picked up on easily, but just enough so that little hints of it build up over time...

I don't think he hates us, just that he thinks of us as an annoying 6 year old brat or summat. If I opened a site and people there started flaming me for not being active or taking care of the site or whatever, I guess I too would eventually become annoyed and shut down the site. That would kind of solve the whole problem, meh? That is, if the brat don't come back to haunt you By the way, when I read tarheel's PM, I also kind of thought it looked as a threat. Oh yes, and did someone post either this site or the MMOTMS site on our profil3 guild? If so, Cappie-chan can easily access these forums lululul. I think I saw a link somewhere =(

Hi, I'm here, just so everyone knows
I'm not sure about this but wouldn't it save us more trouble just to create our own website. I don't know much about it though. I'm sure that it would take longer to create it, but we would also have full control. But if we took over the other site, couldn't captain still do stuff to us? I seriously think captain won't budge though, even with a tremendous revolt. I think it would be best to completely erase captain out of the picture.
Again, I don't know much about websites (money, designing, time wasted), but I just thought I could throw out an idea to consider.
Maybe we should make a few plans to choose from if Captain destroys certain points of the plan. I think as a community we should all have the right to vote on what to do. Oh, and editing the first post with updates and stuff wouldn't be a bad idea. (can you edit posts?)
Would appreciate responses to these. I'm pretty sure I'm just being an idiot but just thinking out-type(loud XD)
~LaZzz. . .(Hi everyone!)

I know html and CSS, and I'm sure a few others have some experience in code, but a site with blog submission is heavily based on database coding (PHP typically) which I don't think many people here know too well.

I know PHP quite well, so I could help. I dont have time right now, maybe in a month or so.
