Well, sorta.
See, this problem started a week ago.
Okay, the main problem would be 1 and a 1/2 year ago.
My best friend had this girlfriend, who he really liked (He's always talking about her). And being a good friend, I just advised him (while looking cool) to keep going for it.
About 6-7 months later, they kinda broke up.
So then I went through therepy with him, and he got over his loss. Well, it wasn't that bad on him anyways. He was kinda like:" OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. *Breaths in breaths out* Okay I'm cool now.", then "OMG I STILL CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT HER." followed by a " Guess what? I gotta take a dump."
That kinda casual.
So after 2 months, he finally got over it.
I did see pictures of her on her blog while I was at his house, and she seemed rather nice (according to picture and verbal experience from me friend).
A week ago, I went to my new school to enrole into my IT course.
Then, my friend told me.
"D00d, she's in the same course as j00."
...
And I kinda saw her as well.
Since then, I can't get her outta my mind.
Even my friend tells me-- oh hang on.
"D00d, go be her BF and like, make me lose hope that we two ever stand a chance of being together again."
So now I'm lost and confused.
At least ranting let me get it off me chest.

well isn't that just precious?
I say, talk to your buddy. If he really is totally OK with you being with this girl, then go for it.
still.

Look at how he reacted @_@ I think eventually it'll just boil down to you choosing between your friend and the girl, or your friend getting over her for real and you get the girl and you three live happily ever after.

Lawlcakes. Here's the solution:
Ask your friend if he's okay with it, and if he says yes, make him pinky promise you, then stamp it. :3
Then go for it. lulululul. However, you should probably learn about her hidden quirks from your friend.

You won't get a straight answer out of your friend. He might be saying "sure, go ahead", but inside he wants to just jump you and kill you for even thinking of it. )=

Tell your friend to act mature. Him and her broke up, so she's fair game even for best friends. If you like her, you like her, and he can't change that. Life's too short to worry about who to date and why. I say go for it. If your friend can't respect your choice because he's still hung up over this girl and he ends up angry at you for it, well, he sucks.
And, well, it kinda depends on if the girl even likes you back.
I say go for it.
