Wow that sucks. Remind me of the days my mom brought me to her office. Except I was an excellent worker and I didn't get paid at all. So I guess it's not the same at all.
Funny how that worked out.

"Thanks for asking me to stay on, but I respectfully decline. I will be self-employed from now on. However, if in the future I ever feel the need to be publicly humiliated, blind-sided, ostracized and called a spy, be distrusted and disciplined by superiors for no good reason, fight for wages that are rightfully mine, stabbed in the back by fellow employees, used as a pawn in executive rivalries, or (especially) chewed out when you're having a bad day, I'll get back to you!"
I just read that in some news column, and it reminded me of this thread xD

Haha! That's hillarious...at least my situation obviously isn't as bad as that persons. My boss is doing his best to try to keep me from leaving, now that he knows I'm job hunting. I don't blame him either, I'm the only assistant manager who ever does anything. But the minute he chose his daughter over his workers was the moment I made up my mind. Too bad nothing he can say will change it.

I'd love to read the rest of the article. XD

Me too. Sarcastic responses like that always get a laugh out of me.
Yeah, that sucks, good luck with the new job. It's really pathetic to me how that manager thought he could win special advantages with that little spawn of his doing the work. I mean, it's not letting family members work that gets to me. It's putting them on pedestals higher than others, that's bulls***. I mean, a child can be your firstborn, as well as perfect in every way, yet as far as work goes, she's just an employee, like all the others.
Plus, being paid $3 for all the s*** she's putting everyone else through? Pffft, that guy's OVERpaying her, man.

Tartar: yes, that edit does seem to fit the bill, I like it Iepiat: He shouldn't be paying her at all. What the hell is she going to buy with the...what...$75 every two months that she makes? Buy a Barbie jeep? She's 11 years old! Shadow: Funny you mention that. Yesterday he tried to "come to terms" with me, but he failed, because all he did was yap for a half an hout about how his daughter works JUST as hard as everyone else, and that the only people who complain about her are the same ones who 'take advantage' of her. -facepalm-

Enjoy your youth. Enjoy it I say!
Also, make sure you go to senior week and get drunk, or it will all be for naught.

-Hopes mai dad or mom never takes me to work- Mai friend has this really obnoxious sister. She's so rude. We invited her and her sister over to our house since their roof was being repaired, and the MOMENT they got to my house, my friend's little sister was like, "I'm hungry, do you have anything to eat?" "...Uhm..lemme see what we have." "I want chocolate." "Sorry we dont have any " "Then go get me some." "...-Vein pops out of forehead-Sorry I can't." "Then I want to play computer." "...Okay...-Turns on computer-" "We have fast internet, your's sucks." "...I just turned on the computer..." "I don't care." "...Mmmhmmm..." -5 minutes later- "I'M BORED!" "...What do you want?" "Chocolate." "..." "Ew your house is so messy, it's like a pig lived here." "..." -She goes to look at mai family pictures- "Ew, is that YOU!?" "Yes." "YOU WERE SO FAT!" "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW!" Sadly my sister came home -.- She made me take care of that stupid brat. She eats so freaking much @_@ She's only in 4th grade TT_TT She's really self-absorbed She writes letters to herself saying, "I rock I rock I rock." She tries to act cute by trying to do sparkley eyes, but all she does is show her ugliness @_@ I'm serious, she looks like a freaking man. She's like a man who wears dresses...It's freaky. You see her back and be all like, "Whoa a cross-dresser!" Then she turns around, "OMFGSOUGLYICANTSTANDITANYMORE -dies- "

Sounds like my type, Connie.
Just kidding. I hate people like that. Makes me want to get a rubber chicken and slap their faces repeatedly until they bleed uncontrollably. Then I would lap up their blood off of the floor, and spit it back into their face. Then, dump a bucket of water on their head, then slapping them with a pan, then suffocate them with a pillow.

I went with my mom to her work every day she had to work for 5 years. For 3 of those, I was there the entire day from 7:30 to anywhere from 4:30 to 7. For the last two, I was there from 7:30-8:30 and 3:00 to anywhere from 4:30 to 7.
