Is this seriously MMOT's first GunZ fanfic? O.o"""
Astra is a world in its own right.
It is divided into mainly two classes: fighters, and non fighters--Also known as "civilians".
Fighters handle the jobs which require fighting: Security, army, assassin, mercenary, bouncer.
Civilians can also handle all the things fighters do, but are, of course, less gifted.
Civilians can cross over to become part of the fighters if they work hard enough. They're called the "E-Stylers", or Easy Stylers. They cannot do any spasming of body parts, their overall strength can never surpass true fighters, and they take longer to learn fighting techniques.
True fighters are fighters in the purest sense. All of them are born with innate fighting skills-- They're complete naturals at fighting, and they can speed up their limbs to inhumane speeds. Also known as "K stylers". They are able to "create energy"-- The technique is called "Massiving". Basically, they gather their energy into their sword until even the energy is visible, and then release it on someone. It is able to paralyze and even kill if strong enough. They can also absorb their opponents energy by blocking a blow and absorbing the energy behind it, and then counter attack with the energy. They have tremendous strength, and decreased sensitivity to pain. Yes, shoot them and they'll stagger, but they'll be up and running in a jiffy.
K stylers rarely have any other talents that lie outside of fighting, because their whole brain only came with fighting skills. However, there are some exceptions.
Non-fighters are people like us on Earth, period. We do all the economic stuff-- Finance, industries, music, art, engineering, weapons production. Most people are born as Civilians, and True Fighters are relatively rare. In fact, fighters only take up one quarter of the population, they just make more ripples than civilians.
Characteristics of Fighters
Most fighters are the same.
They can kill in cold blood easily.
They lack conscience.
They are carefree and somewhat immature.
They don't care most of the time.
They throw around vulgarities like nobody's business.
They worship violence.
In contrast:
They have morals.
They have a sense of honor
They have strong sense of teamwork.
They are not quick to make enemies.
They are rarely truly serious.
They form clans, which are just small societies of allied fighters. They travel together, they beat up anyone they like, they have clan wars, they help each other out, and each clan has a different motto. In Cavalry IV, we'll only be focusing on the Axiom, Cavalry, and Fable clan. Other clans do get a mention or two, but in the story it's mainly only the three most prominent clans.
Axiom
Axiom is a very old clan, dating back to the age of Kavveled. Most of them are peace loving. However, because they are peace loving, small clans trying to gain fame attack them constantly. As a result, the Axiom clan kills a lot, making them branded as a "dangerous" clan after history gets muddled up with countless myths about the clan. Their members use bikes called the Steed, Astra's fastest bike-- It can accelerate to a staggering maximum of 550km/h. They try to maintain peace between themselves and all the clans, but that may not last for long.
Known characters in Axiom:
Erin
Silver
Reptor
Cavalry
Cavalry rose to fame in record time-- Just three months, and almost every fighter in Astra knew of the Cavalry, despite them only have 10 members at the moment. They ride on Mules -Bikes used exclusively by them. The Mule does its name justice by having side notches at its side to allow storing of weapons and various compartments just behind the handles to store equipment. It can go at a max speed of 450km/h, making it the second fastest fighter bikes in Astra, surpassed only by Axiom's Steed. Besides that, the Cavalry members work in pairs. One of the pair would specialize in defense, the other specializes in offense. They are specially chosen to compensate for the other's weaknesses. They can also fight very efficiently on the Mule. In fact, Cavalry is the only clan to train its members in fighting on bikes. Cavalry is established mainly to foil Fable, as the Fable clan has been keen on the bloodletting lately for no reason.
Known characters in Cavalry (Defender, Offense)
I : Ganz, Ciel
II : Arladerus, Shadow
III : Reck, Falerix
IV : Legro, Ryxtre
V : Reve, Nova
Fable
The most dangerous clan in Astra. Their members are no chosen, they choose. The Fable clan is the largest clan in Astra, with over 50 members at the moment, with more and more fighters joining it each day. As such, most of its members throw their weight about, killing random civilians and having random shootouts with small clans they see. They have made many enemies-- Most of which are small clans which do not dare stand up to the might of the Fable clan. Axiom is mainly on neutral grounds with the Fable clan, but they are trying to seek any excuse they can to have a clan war with Fable, at the same time not tarnishing their public image even more.

"What the heck is Kav and Yurith?"
I'm sure you're come across "By Kav" , or "Kav damned" , or "Yurith claimed" in chapter 4 for new readers. Wonder what it means?
You probably know, Kav is a substitute for "God". Yurith is a substitue for "Devil".
The history is is this. Many. MANY years ago, there were two figures, namely "Kavveled" and "Yurith". Yurith was an amazingly talented fighter, but later on decided to use his skills to cause havoc, killing many people and gathering lots of followers. He can be likened to the Devil, in any case. Kavveled was a young lad, equally talented, and, going through numerous hardships, pain, and years, finally overpowered Yurith-- Dying in the process. After such a major event, and the world began to recover, they started using their names as if they were higher powers.
I may elaborate on the 15 Years of Blood in a separate fanfic, but for now, this is basically what the fighters know of Kavveled and Yurith.
BTW, GunZ lovers rejoice.
ALL moves usable in GunZ is going to be in the fanfic. Yes, ALL of them. It's going to be REALLY, REALLY faithful to the game.
