Lays, you can't eat just one. The same cannot be said for Pringles.

I used to love cupcakes when I was a kid. I always ate them at birthday parties, but I could never eat more than one...and it never dawned on me why that was until I got older, and I realized that icing is probably the most disgusting thing ever invented.
The sugar potency is phenominal even compared to the italian ice I make at work, which says something, because those recipies call for about 8-10 cups of sugar per batch. The fact is just that icing/frosting is just way too sweet because of the overportioning of sugar in the recipie.
The cupcake is a failed attempt to ballance out the s***ty taste of the cupcake batter with icing that contains enough sugar to kill a diabetic on contact. The cupcake would improve greatly if they lessened the ammount of icing on the top (usually it's a glob big enough to fit into my definition of "metric assload" or "f**kton"), or if the cupcake batter had something more to it. The bottom of the cupcake would taste tons better if it wasn't so airy and crumbly.

Bah, this is more about the fact that you don't like stuff that's too sweet. In that case, what about pink sprinkled donuts? I'mma fat guy, so I can handle all the sweet stuff. You stick to your bran muffins with raisins, and I'll stick to my Domino's Oreo Pizza with chocolate dipping sauce.

I love doughnuts ; Glazed doughnuts are my favorite. Then the chocolate ones. Then the ones with apple filling. And I love sweet things, it's the degree of sweetness on a scale of 1-10. Muffins are about a 2-6 depending on the type, doughnuts range around 5-8, and cupcakes with icing hit a clean 10.00001 with no trouble. Bran muffins are disgusting. And I don't eat rasins. I'm not a very healthy person at all (I'm the assistant manager of a desert chain and you think I don't eat any of the products!? xD). But as far as quality, taste and ballance of ingridents go, muffins win over the cupcake. (My friend in cullinary school wants me to tell you that she agrees D: )

Why are we arguing about cupcakes and muffins? Why not pies and cakes? That's worth debating over.

I think that pies and cakes are much too broad in their definitions to be a debate topic. Because of how huge the difference can be from one cake and another, or one pie in relation to another pie-- I can't think of any reason why one could be better than the other...both 'pie' and 'cake' are such greatly simplified terms which cover hundreds of desert variations...making it almost impossible to nit-pick. Muffins and cupcakes, on the other hand, have little variation in sub-category, and never stray far from their typical traits.

I goez, sleep now. I better see people debating this when I check this again

Fruit, because there are so many and they don't all have the same taste (...except maybe the tangerine and the orange. Why do they even bother calling them by different names? Just call it a mini orange, jeebus...)
And veggies have always seemed more...difficult to eat. Not as in it's hard to figure out how to eat them, it's just hard...putting them into my mouth, because I know what they taste like and I know it's not the best taste ^^;

Fruits are good because you can eat them anywhere anytime, and of course, uncooked. Veggies, other than like carrots aren't really...portable. And a lot of my my favourite veggies only taste good cooked.
But, seeing as I am vegetarian, i wont pick a side. Gotta love it all. ;D

To me the term vegetarian is very misleading, because vegetarians eat so much more that just vegetables. It should really be called nomeattarians, which is exponentially less mind boggling.
Annnnyway, fruit is definitely better than vegetables in every way. Well... maybe not every way, but most of the ways, especially taste and energy content. I mean, eat a banana or some grapes before playing sports and you can go all day. Broccoli on the other hand makes you just want to stop doing everything and die because the taste just wont go away. D:

Vegetarian = eats no meat, but some may eat fish, eggs, etc Vegan = only eats things that originate from plants
And err... if you think vegetables are disgusting... there are methods to make almost every vegetable so that they DO taste good, whether by cooking, preparing a certain way or uhh... with sauce? xd
Fruit or vegetables? Well.. I like both XD

Uh, if a vegetarian eats fish, isn't that eating meat? Even if it's a clam or oyster, it's still a muscle.

"Meat" in this context usually excludes fish and eggs, maybe a few other things. Well. I don't know the exact reason for that, actually, but vegetarian is a loose term.

Vegetables are nice. Except spinach. I used to like them, but then school screwed it up.
